Now Offering Design + Branding Services For Female Entrepreneurs

I AM SO EXCITED to *officially* announce that Hello Ginger is now offering design and branding services for female entrepreneurs! From logo design to full branding packages to a la carte marketing materials, I'll be connecting with women-owned businesses to create branded materials targeted to your ideal client. Starting a new business venture and need a logo? I'm your girl. Been in business a couple years but feel like your brand needs a facelift to better represent you? I got you. Already have an established brand but need a designer to create a piece that fits that brand? Let's chat. I want to help your brand shine!

With over 8 years of professional experience designing for businesses, I feel like this is a natural progression for the Hello Ginger brand. When I left my full-time job last November to concentrate solely on raising my little one and growing Hello Ginger, I felt an immediate void in designing logos, branding campaigns, and print and marketing materials. I love me some product design, but I also love being versatile and designing to fit other brands. A silly saying on a cute coffee mug makes me happy, but so does a crisp, clean pricing sheet or a simple, minimalist logo design. I want to design to fit your brand — not mine!

It seems like now more than ever women are leaving the corporate world to pursue their passions and start their own businesses. I love being a part of this movement and feel passionate about supporting other women-owned businesses. My style is fun, colorful, and slightly girly, and I want to bring that happy vibe to female-led businesses. It's also no secret that I love the color pink, so it feels natural that the Hello Ginger brand will be designing for fellow boss babes. Girl tribe unites!

As a small biz owner myself, I know how overwhelming it can be to get all of the pieces together to launch a business. I want to take the creative part off your hands and let you get down to business. Let's chat about what makes your business unique and build a brand that represents you. Whether you’re just starting out or if you’re looking to give your brand a face-lift, I would love to help you build a brand that reflects your style and vision.

Don't fret — my product line still exists! While you won't see my products on my website anymore, you can still shop the collection via my Etsy site. And the collection will continue to grow, so be on the lookout for some fun new stuff! Make sure to follow me on instagram to be the first to know about new products or sales.

Browse my list of services to get a basic idea of what I offer, then contact me! If you need something that is not listed, let's chat and I will put together a pricing quote for you. I'm excited to get started!

Free Printable: 2016 Wall Calendar

Confession: I'm a bit of a calendar whore. I collect them like jewelry, or postcards, or pretty cards. And as much as I love a monthly calendar, I always need to have a full annual calendar on hand. Because it feels easier to get a grasp on the whole year when you can see it all in front of you, right?

Friday Finds: Holiday Gift Ideas for Your Best #GirlBoss Friend

If there's one trend I'm loving right now, it's the rapid fire spread of girl bosses, and the acknowledgement of makers and designers that girl bosses are a thing. Toot your own boss babe horn and treat yourself with one of these fun items that will have you singing, "I am woman, hear me roar," or grab one for one of your boss lady friends. I love the rise of "community over competition." There's enough business to go around for all of us boss babes!

1. Girl Tribe Tank, $38, Shop Pink Social

When you're a small business owner, there's nothing more important than finding your girl tribe. Boss babes need other boss babes to commiserate with and to help lift each other up. Carrie Barker and Sarah Baucom are two sweet girls from my hometown who created the Pink Social Girl Tribe, a 1,000+ member Facebook group where creative ladies can connect, support each other and hold each other accountable. They also have a super cute shop called Shop Pink Social that's filled with fun tees and tanks, like this one.

2. Girl Boss 8x10 Mini Canvas, $15, ADEprints //

This cute little canvas is hand lettered by a gal named Allie Edgar who I recently discovered on etsy. All of her pieces can be customized, including this one. Choose from hot pink, black, navy, teal or gray for the canvas, and gold leaf, metallic silver, black or white for the lettering. I'm partial to the pink and gold!

3. Like a Boss Coffee Mug, $18, Smallglow //

This shop is full of great gifts for bosses including tees, mugs and art prints. Aside from this "Like a Boss" mug, check out The CEO mug as well.

4. A Passionate Woman Print, $16, Winnie Jean //

I was lucky enough to meet the very talented Stephanie Creekmur this summer at Stationery Academy, and let me tell y'all, she really is the ultimate girl boss. This gal is not only ridiculously talented at hand lettering, but she also really understands the ins and outs of a successful business. Plus, she's sweet as can be, which is the ultimate girl boss behavior.

5. Like a Boss Coffee Mug, $18, Aspen Lane Colorado //

What's better than a coffee mug? A travel mug! What's better than a travel mug? A BOSS lady travel mug. Scoot around town like a boss and keep your drink warm at the same time with this sassy tumbler.

6. Girl Boss Pencils, $2, Harvest Paper Co //

Pencils are my latest obsession. I have terrible handwriting but for some reason I feel like I write better with a pencil. Or maybe it's just because I can erase it if it looks ugly. Either way, these bossy pencils are the perfect motivation for getting sh*t done.

7. Girl Boss Letter Banner, $11, All Her Glory //

How fun is this girl boss banner?? Customize it for your office or home — there are 4 different sizes and 18 different colors to choose from. I think I might just have to get this to hang above my computer... sometimes I need a reminder that I'm a boss when I get discouraged!

Free Printable Halloween Wall Art: Double Double Toil and Trouble

As a child of the 90s, I grew up watching Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen movies, and my hands down favorite was "Double Double Toil and Trouble." I'm actually pretty sure that it was that movie that made Halloween become one of my favorite holidays. So in honor of that fabulous little flick and 90s girls everywhere, here's a free print to help you dress up your mantle or front porch tonight. Happy Halloween!

Free Printable Wall Art: Fall Pumpkin

Fall is in full force and I'm loving every minute of it! Except for the fact that the pumpkins we bought in the mountains are already rotten. (Why???) Seeing as how there are still ELEVEN days until Halloween and THIRTY SEVEN days until Thanksgiving, I guess I'm going to be going out to get some new pumpkins. In the meantime though, here's a pumpkin that won't rot. Sweeten up your mantle with this pumpkin-y print!

Jewel-Toned Fall Porch Inspiration

I love Fall and Fall decor like it's nobody's business, but I'll be the first to tell you that Fall decor can get real tacky, real fast. While I love the orange and yellow colors of Fall leaves as much as anyone else, I've never been big on using those colors together in Fall decor. Feels a little too Michaels-y for me. I much prefer to leave yellow and orange in God's hands, and instead decorate for Fall with complementary colors (blues, pinks, purples) to complement His decor.

That being said, you will now understand why I am totally digging the idea of jewel-toned hues for a Fall front porch. I truly can't think of a better color combo! Case in point:

It's mighty lovely, don'tcha think? What colors are you using to decorate for fall this year?

Free Wallpaper: Happy Fall

It's the most wonderful time of the year! Nothing, and I repeat nothing, makes me happier than cool weather, the sound of leaves crunching beneath my feet, the smell of wood burning and the pretty colors that dust fall trees. In honor of my favorite season, I've got a fun little freebie to wish you (and your digital devices) a happy fall!

Welcome to Hello Ginger!

Greetings, friends!

I am so excited to finally introduce Hello Ginger to the world. I have been working behind the scenes for months to get this baby up and running and am thrilled to finally be live! I am also excited to tell the back story of Hello Ginger, and how she came to be.

In 2012, I launched a small etsy business called Sweetpress Studio. It started out as an experiment to see if anyone would actually want to buy my invitations and art prints, and surprisingly for me, they did!

I was a newlywed fresh off the wedding planning process and dove headfirst into designing bridal shower invitations, rehearsal dinner invitations and wedding day stationery like programs, menus and signage. I loved what I was doing, but as my 9 to 5 job became more demanding, I found myself struggling to keep that passion going after a long day at work in front of a computer. I was burnt out from work, but decided that I was also burnt out because I wasn't loving what I was creating anymore. If only I could take it a step further and start designing custom wedding invitations, I thought, then my creative spark would be reignited.

This summer, I was blessed to be able to attend Stationery Academy, a business school for stationery and gift designers. I went into it thinking that I would come home with my fire burning again, ready to dive headfirst into a custom wedding invitation business. Boy, was I wrong.

Stationery Academy is actually much, much more than a business school. It is a community for creative women to come together and discuss their fears and their dreams. We were encouraged to "get honest with our values" and identify our business' purpose. In doing that, I had an "a-ha" moment. I didn't want to design wedding invitations. I wanted to create bold and bright things that would make people happy every day of their life — not just on their wedding day.

I started brainstorming where I could go with my business, and the possibilities were endless. I jotted down ideas left and right, and for the first time in forever, I was excited about what I wanted to do with my business. I also had a newfound confidence because I had a wealth of knowledge and resources in my back pocket, and an amazing support system of like-minded entrepreneurs cheering me on.

Stationery Academy was a game changer for me. It helped me decide to close a chapter of my life and shut the doors on Sweetpress Studio, and say hello to a new chapter of my life — Hello Ginger!

Hello Ginger is an online paper and gift boutique that sells everything that I love — bold and bright paper products, art prints, coffee mugs, notepads — plus an abundance of fun new items that will debut down the road. Everything in the shop is a reflection of me and the things that make me happy. Whether it's a silly little saying, a song lyric, or a broadway-inspired coffee mug, everything I have created was created with love.

I'm brimming with ideas and can't wait to share them with you!  Keep up with the latest products by following me on instagram at @shophelloginger, or on Facebook, Twitter, or Pinterest if that's more your style. Thanks for visiting! Now, let's have some fun. :)
